Grudzeń Las foundry silica sands are ideal for steel casting thanks to their high purity (SiO₂ content above 99.2 %) and high temperature resistance. They are highly suitable for a high-quality casting surface in case of both grey iron and ductile iron, including non-ferrous metals. The oval shape of the grains alows reduction of costs of expensive organic binders (Cold-Box, Rezol CO₂, furan, etc.).

Sodium water glass from the chemical plant Rudniki is an aqueous solution of sodium silicate that is made of high quality Grudzeń Las silica sand and alkaline fluxes.
Water glass is characterized by a modulus, which is the molar ratio of SiO₂ / Na₂O ranging from 1.6 to 3.5.

It is used as a binder in the sand mould production in foundries, as an adhesive in the paper industry or in the waste water treatment to remove heavy metals. It can be used in the construction industry as well. Water glass is used here as an admixture to concrete which shortens its setting time and also does not let in water.

This is a refractory material (more than 1800 °C) intended for places exposed to high heat in the casting production, and not just in steel casting. Compared to silica sand, it differs in its higher cooling effect, penetration resistance and lower thermal expansion. However, its relative density is higher. It is also used in the glass production where glass is tinted, as well as in the production of ceramics.

This is round, thermally treated steel shot with a fine homogeneous structure of tempered martensite. Our production is outsourced producer who guarantees our technical parameters, such as hardness of 450 – 560 HV, porosity under 10% and density of at least 7200 kg/m³. The quality of our steel shot, including the packaging, is very high and conforms to the SAE J 444 standard. This material is perfect for most applications using casting wheels for blasting.

• BESIL

This is a viscous liquid of yellow-brown color that is used as a foundry moulds binder containing SiO₂ + Na₂O min. 30.0 % and with molar ratio of 2.1 ± 0.1

• S-10

This is a viscous liquid of yellow-brown color that is used as a foundry moulds binder containing SiO₂ + Na₂O min. 35.0 % and with molar ratio of 2.5 ± 0.1
